Minerva Cervantes, 65 of San Benito passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 1, 1950 to Jose and Virginia Cervantes.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jose and Virginia Cervantes, one brother Jose Angel Cervantes and one sister Virginia Cervantes Jr. as well as several nieces and nephews.
Left to cherish her memory are her siblings; Petra Cantu, Eusebio (Ramona) Cervantes, Oralia (Raul) Ortiz, Hortencia Cervantes, Robert (Margaret) Cervantes and Jose (Lupita) Cervantes as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 5pm to 7pm at Thomae Garza Funeral Directors in San Benito.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 4pm at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.
Serving as pallbearers will Tony Cuellar Jr, Eusebio Cervantes Jr., Israel Villarreal Jr., Robert Patrick Aguilar, Christopher Cervantes, Joshua Diaz, Rickey Diaz and Tim Staples.
