Roberto Resendez, 59, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio Resendez and Juana Gonzalez; one sister, Maria Elva Resendez; and one brother, Juan Resendez. Roberto is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Maria Resendez; his children: Roberto (Irene Garza) Resendez, Marco Resendez, and Ivette (Carlos) Snavely; four grandchildren: Austin Resendez, Sophia Resendez, Jocelyn Snavely, Kalob Snavely’; and siblings: Santiago Resendez, Irma Moreno, Alfredo Resendez, Reymundo Resendez, Aurora Proo, Aurelia Davila, Jaime Resendez, Alfonso Resendez. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. A chapel service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Templo Eben-Ezer Asembleas De Dios, 996 Turner in San Benito, Texas. Burial will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
