Jose B. Aguirre, 81, of Brownsville, Texas, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his wife Felipa Aguirre; parents, Tomas and Juanita Aguirre; one sister Margarita Jimenez; and one brother Luis Aguirre.
Mr. Aguirre is survived by his children: Jose (Adelaida) Aguirre Jr., Juan Angel (Andrea) Aguirre, Alma (Francisco) Rosa Rodriguez, and Victor (Martha) Aguirre; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2016 from 12:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home.
Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at St. Ignacio Catholic Church with burial to follow at Esparza Cemetery.
