Lidia L. Guajardo, 87, entered into her rest on Monday, May 23, 2016 in Harlingen, TX. Lidia was a devoted wife, mother, mother in law, grandmother and great grandmother who will be deeply missed. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Santiago Guajardo Sr., parents Guillermo and Ignacia Lopez, brothers, Guadalupe (+Damacia) and Paulino Lopez and one great grandson Aiden Matthew Leal. Left to cherish her memory are her children; Santiago (Eva) Guajardo Jr and Janie (Joe) Palma, siblings; Dora (+Gilberto) Sosa, Pete (Yolanda), Benny (Mary) and her sister in law Juanita Lopez. Also surviving Lidia are her grandchildren Eddie (Sasha) Palma, Savannah (Abel), Stephanie (Erik), and Samantha Guajardo, Elijah and Ethaniel Palma; great grandchildren Annabeth Aguirre, Emery Jane Palma and Ezekiel Palma Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 12pm to 9pm with a rosary to be recited at 7pm at Thomae Garza Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 11am at St Benedicts Catholic Church with burial to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito. Serving as pallbearers are; Eddie Palma , Elijah Palma, Abel Aguirre, Erik Leal , Willie Lopez and Ashton De La Cruz and Ethaniel Palma serving as an honorary pallbearer.
