J. Gonzalo Gallardo, 73, entered in to rest on Friday, May 13, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 10, 1943 to the late Juan Gallardo and Modesta Segovia in San Luis Potosi, Mexico Self-employed for many years he loved to spend time with his family from playing cards with his sons and nephews to tendering to his plants and dogs. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Juan Segovia, sister Agustina Sanchez, nephew Ruben Sanchez, niece Janette Gaytan and his grandson Jose Santos Gallardo Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 46 years, Dolores Perez Gallardo; children Gerardo (Sandra) Gallardo, Jose Angel (Maria Guadalupe) Gallardo, Lucinda (Robert) Trevino, Joe L. Gallardo (Mercedes Sanchez), Larry (Yesenia) Gallardo and Terry Gallardo (Felipe Estrada). J. Gonzalo is also survived by his siblings Jose V. Gallardo, Esiquel Gallardo and Consuelo Gaytan. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Gerardo Gallardo Jr. (JoAnn Coy) , Angela Gallardo, Adriana Trevino, Samantha Gallardo, Amanda Trevino, Randy Gallardo, Joann D. Gallardo, Julissa Gallardo, Haley Hernandez, Robert Trevino Jr., Darren Gallardo, Destiny Gallardo, Alma N. Estrada and Aliza J. Estrada as well as his great grandchildren Jayden Gallardo and Jodey Gallardo. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 16, 2016 at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Burial will follow at San Benito Memorial Park in San Benito. Serving as palberers are; Gerardo Gallardo Jr., Randy Gallardo, Alfredo Rodriguez, Felipe Estrada, Everardo Gallardo and Ofelio Valle.
