Juan Delgado, 68, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016 in Harlingen, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eliodoro and Maria Del Carmen Delgado; one brother, Efrain Delgado-Salazar; and one sister, Maria Delgado-Salazar. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Maria Delia Delgado; six children: Jose E. (Selina) Lopez, Maria Del Carmen (Santiago) Ortiz-Leonides, Maricela Martinez (Frouctuoso Garcia), Juan Gabriel Ortiz, Margarita Delgado (Sergio De La Cruz), and Juan (Erika) Delgado, Jr; 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four brothers: Jesus Delgado, Pedro Delgado, Jose Delgado, and Joel Delgado; two sisters: Natalia D. Lopez and Maria Concepcion Delgado; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers: Jose E.
