Jose M. Morales, Sr., 75, of Brownsville, Texas, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2016 in Brownsville, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus Morales Hernandez and Ana Maria Gonzalez; and two sisters. Jose is survived by his wife of 49 years, Nora M. Morales; four children: Martin (Edith) Morales, Jose M. (Mary) Morales, Jr., Marcelino (Rebecca) Morales, and Andrea Anna (Gilbert) Guadarrama; grandchildren: Carolina Morales, Martin Morales, Jr., Eric Morales, Eric Joe Morales, Destiny Morales, Victoria JoAnn Morales, Marcelino Morales, Jr., Maite Morales, Gilbert C. Guadarrama, Jr., Michael N. Guadarrama, and Aundre J. Guadarrama; and numerous other relatives. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
