Katherine Mia Garcia, 5 ½ months old, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, April 25, 2016. Katherine was born to Irvin and Brenda Garcia on November 6, 2015. She was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, niece, and cousin who will be greatly missed. Katherine will forever be in our hearts and be known as a true fighter and hero in our family. She will always be our little miracle. She is preceded in death by her maternal great-great-grandparents, Herculano and Augustina Sanchez; great-great-grandparents, Clemente and Olivia Rodriguez; cousins: Christopher Lee Martinez, Mindy Martinez, and Orlando Hernandez; paternal great-grandfather, Evaristo Puga; and numerous aunts and uncles. Katherine is survived by her parents, Irvin and Brenda Garcia; her sister, Aubree Nicole Garcia; her maternal great-grandmother, Maria B Martinez; maternal great-grandparents, Maria Teresa and Cristobal Torres; and her maternal grandparents, Rachel and Mickey Rodriguez; paternal great-grandparents: San Juanita and Guadalupe Garcia, Maria Puga; and her paternal grandparents, Norma Puga and Fernando Garcia. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. A chapel service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday April 28, 2016 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
