Frieda Rookh (Lewis) Warrington, 88, of San Benito went to be with the Lord on Oct 15, 2011 with her daughter and son in law at her bedside. Frieda (Lewis) Warrington was born June 12, 1923 to John D. Lewis and Lillian Black Lewis in Ft Worth, TX. Frieda was an only child. Frieda was a bookkeeper, accountant, wife, mother and grandmother .She graduated from Kansas City HS in Kansas City, Kansas. She married Rev T. Bentley Warrington in 1957 moved from Ft Worth, TX to Illinois, then to LA Porte, IN. She worked for the La Porte ISD till 1981 and moved to San Benito, TX where she worked as bookkeeper in several places in the RGV. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Harlingen, TX. She worked with Campers on Mission for several summers with Bentley. She was preceded in death by husband of 49 years Rev T Bentley Warrington and her parents, John D. Lewis and Lillian Black.. Surviving are their two daughters, Rebecca (Charles) Coolbaugh of Palestine, TX, and Linda Beth (Roberto) Aguilera of San Benito TX.; grandchildren, Erin (HR Jeffery) Lindstrom of FT Sam Houston, TX., Jessica (Aaron Campos) Rinehart of Copper Canyon, TX., SPC John Bentley (Anna) Warrington of Ft. Drum, New York, Sara (A03 Nick) Espinoza of NAF El Centro, CA., Stephanie (SPC David) Guzman of Ft Riley, KS., Robert Aguilera of Harlingen, TX., and Airman Michael (Monica ) Aguilera of NS Norfolk, VA.; great grandchildren, Janissa Coolbaugh, Lindsay Ortiz, Haliey L Warrington, Amaru Espinoza, John R Warrington, and Kalila Guzman; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home Chapel in San Benito. Words of comfort may be sent to the family of Frieda L.
