Pablo Gabriel Vega, Sr., 79, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Monday, February 29, 2016 in Harlingen, Texas.
He was preceded in death by: Mike Vega and Augustin Vega.
He is survived by his six children: Mike (Annette) Vega, Ester (Tony) Hinojosa, Alberto Vega, Pablo (Dora Yliana) Gabriel Vega, Jr., Dalia (Roy) Sanchez, and Diana (Jesus Ayala) Vega; siblings: Beatriz V. Moody, Virginia V. Luna, Irma Brady, Lucy Weaver, and Minnie Jaramillo; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Benito Memorial Park.
