Ignacia A. Del Abra, 70, of Port Isabel, Texas, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Atanasio Del Abra and Ramona Zuniga; one son, Jose Alfredo Yanez Del Abra; one sister, Frosina Del Abra; and one brother, Julian Del Abra.
Ignacia is survived by her children: Fidel Borrego, Amelia Borrego, Maria Del Refugio Borrego, Guadalupe Yanez, Alfonso Del Abra Ramirez, and Oscar Del Abra; three brothers: Fortino Del Abra, Mauricio Del Abra, Jose Elizalde; three sisters: Aurelia Del Abra, Maria P. Del Abra, Candelaria Elizalde; 20 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria St., Port Isabel, Texas.
Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Burial will take place in Matamoros, Mexico at Panteon Municipal Nuevo.
