Severo Moctezuma, 86, of Rio Hondo, passed away Friday, December 25, 2015 at his residence.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Felix Moctezuma and Evarista Ramires; siblings: Pablo Moctezuma, Carlos Moctezuma, Carmen Moctezuma and nephew Jacobo Moctezuma.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 58 years, Brigida Zarate de Moctezuma, children: Severo (Beatriz) Moctezuma Jr, Maria C. (Raul) Rodriguez, Martha (+Joe) Rodriguez; two sisters, Ediberta Moctezuma, Carmen (+Ambrosio) Amaro; grandchildren: Beatriz (Erasto) Vasquez, LeRoy Rodriguez, Betty Jo (David) Gonzales, Severo (Araceli) Moctezuma III, Joe Rodriguez Jr., Oscar J. Rodriguez, Maria De Jesus Moctezuma, Christopher J. Rodriguez, Sergio Blas Moctezuma, Thalisa Gonzales; and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 with burial to follow at Rio Hondo City Cemetery.
