Ernestina T. “La Wera” Dominguez, 71, of Port Isabel, Texas, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 16, 2015 at her residence. She was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church and a lifetime resident of Port Isabel, Texas where she attended Angelitos Adult Day Care. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernesto Torres and Delfina Espinoza. Ernestina is survived by her husband, Victor Dominguez; three sons: Victor Vega, Oscar Vega, and Rafael Ahumada Torres; two daughters, Mireya Ahumada Torres and Isabel Ahumada Torres; two granddaughters raised by her, Christina Alejandra Vega and Janet Vega; three great-grandchildren: Destiny Valdez, Pablo Garcia, and Adrian Garcia; as well as several brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Visitation will continue from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S Longoria St in Port Isabel, Texas. Funeral mass will be held 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Cremation will follow in accordance to her wishes.
