Federico R. Jimenez Sr, 93, of San Benito, Texas, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015.
Born on April 28, 1922 in Dolores Hidalgo, Mexico, Federico migrated to Texas at an early age with a strong determination for a better life. He later met and married the late Ernestina Cervantes.
Left to cherish his memory are his eight children; Federico Jr., Lourdes, Noe, Ciro, Eduardo, Nina, Inez and Jerardo as well as 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 19, 2015 at St Benedict’s Catholic Church with burial to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.
