Mateo A. Villarreal, 76, of San Benito, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015 in Harlingen Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents Mateo and Ernestina Villarreal and one sister Alma Lozano.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Mary Alice; his children: Tina Marie, Angela Kay, Gloria Christine, Cora Jean; one niece, Terri Lozano; grandchildren: Byron Rodriguez, Mya Nicole, Johnny Alexander, James Keylon, Adaleyn Alma, Amanda, Celina, and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae Garza Funeral Home.
A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Thomae Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers are: David Garza Jr., Ted Martinez, Noel Garza, Abraham Garza, Parker Schaefer, Jeremiah Garza and honorary pallbearer, Byron Rodriguez.
