Rosaura Saldivar, 91, passed away on September 11, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lazaro Saldivar; her grandson, Guillermo Tovias, Jr.; and one granddaughter, Rosaura Robles. Rosaura is survived by five sons: Arnulfo (Rosa) Saldivar, Jose (Enedina) Saldivar, Rene (Josefina) Saldivar, Noel (Ruth) Saldivar, and Lazaro Saldivar, Jr.; six daughters: Lucia (Manuel) Estrada, Rosalinda (Roberto) Estrada, Herlinda (Moises) Garcia, Juanita (Guillermo) Tovias, Lucinda (Homero) Hinojosa, Teresa (Juan) Rojas; two brothers: Juan Escobedo and Edelmiro Escobedo; 55 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and other relatives. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 12 midnight, with a holy rosary on both nights, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church in San Benito, Texas. Committal service will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
