Los Fresnos, TX- Ronald Swayze Tippett was born September 16, 1937 in Dallas, Texas, went home to his Lord and Savior October 13, 2011. Ron is survived by his wife, Carole Massey-Tippett of Los Fresnos, Texas; step-sons, Scott Massey, and Thomas (DeAnn) Massey of Friendswood, TX.; his sister, Sandra Tippett-Mills of Cottonwood, Texas; his niece, Tracy Gooch; and nephews, Matthew and Mark Mills. Ron was the son of Crawford and Lola Tippett of Dallas, Texas. He graduated from Sunset High and attended The University of Texas at Arlington, majoring in Business. He entered the insurance business and was currently a General Agent for American Heritage Life Insurance Company/Allstate Workplace Division, having previously been Regional Director for Dallas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. In 1989, he started The Marketing Group of Texas and in 2010 moved to Los Fresnos, where he resided with his wife at the time of his death.
