Juan Gonzalez Rodriguez, 86, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 in Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his late wife, Amelia Garcia Rodriguez; and his parents, Sacunda Gonzalez and Felipe Rodriguez. He is survived by his wife, Obdulia Ortega Rodriguez; his children: Mr. and Mrs. Juan Rodriguez, Jr, Mr. Jose Martin Rodriguez, Mr. and Mrs. Liborio Tovar, Mr. Felipe Rodriguez, Mrs. Sylvia R. Vega, Mr. and Mrs. Jesus F. Rodriguez, Mr. and Mrs. Gerrardo Ortega; 22 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in San Benito, Texas. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
