Juan Antonio Resendez, 65, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on July 1, 2015 in Harlingen, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his son, Joel Resendez; his parents, Antonio and Juana Resendez; and sister, Maria Elva Resendez.
Surviving him are three children: Juan A. Resendez, Jr., Javier Resendez, and Jason Resendez; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and siblings: Santiago Resendez, Irma Resendez, Alfredo Resendez, Roberto Resendez, Reymundo Resendez, Jaime Resendez, Aurelia Davila, Aurora Provo, and Alfonso Resendez.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow at San Benito City Cemetery.
