Mary Elizabeth Worley, 83, of Santa Fe, Texas, went to be with the Lord on June 14th, 2015, after a wonderful life. Mary has been staying in Angelton with nursing care for the past few years. Mary was born October 27th, 1931, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Herbert and Vivian Evans. Elizabeth spent 66 years with the love of her life, the late Jack Hardy Worley, Sr. They had two sons, the late Jack Hardy Worley, Jr. and Jerry Lynn Worley. They were fortunate to have two wonderful daughter-in-laws, Clare and Debbie. She adored her grandchildren David, the late Jerry Lynn, Scott, Amberly, Darla, Houston, and Holly. She also had the opportunity to enjoy her great grandchildren: Jayleigh, Lauren, Wyatt and Ishmael. She was a quiet, somewhat reserved woman who usually kept her opinions to herself. That is why, when she did share her opinion or give advice it was wise to listen to her. Her family and friends will miss all of her laughter, wisdom and commitment to all of us but we know that she is resting and looking down on us with smiles. Along with her Lord, husband, grandson and parents, Mary is now celebrating with her brother Dan Evans, her sister Anna Belle Anderson, numerous in-laws and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, June 19, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
