SAN BENITO — Rosalie "Rose" Caminita Henry Marzenell
Rosalie "Rose" Caminita Henry Marzenell, 78, died Saturday, July 7, 2007, at her home at Fun n Sun in San Benito.
A Memorial Service will begin at 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at the Thomae-Garza Funeral Chapel in San Benito, officiated by the Rev. Marcus Mueller of St. John Lutheran Church. Rosalie Caminita Marzenell, daughter of Frank and Maggie Caminita was born November 2, 1928 in New Orleans, LA. She later moved to Metairie, LA where she raised her family. She then moved to San Benito.
She enjoyed playing bridge and fishing with her family. She was known for her cooking, especially Italian style. She was a member of the Camelot bridge group and other bridge groups in the park. She was a member of the Red Hats of Fun N Sun, a longtime member of the Good Sam RV Club, a member of the Disabled American Veterans auxiliary. Her other interests included oil painting, dancing, playing bingo and traveling.
Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Claude L. (Buzz) Marzenell Jr. of San Benito; her loving children, Deborah Kirkconnell (Pete Serrata) San Benito; Stewart Henry (Cheri Cheveallier) Covington, LA; Gregory Henry (Donna Henry) Metairie, LA; Madge Henry (Maggie Malbrough) Orange Beach, AL; eight grandchildren, William Mussare, Klay Kirkconnell, Kortnie Kirkconnell, Nicholas Henry, Stewart Henry II, Alexander Henry, Shane Henry and Blake Henry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Maggie Caminita, one son, Bruce Henry, and two brothers, Salvadore Caminita and Frank Caminita.
