Port Isabel, TX- Soledad Rojas-Gonzalez, 100, entered into Eternal Rest on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at her residence in Port Isabel. She is preceded in death by her parents, Basilio and Lorenza Rojas-Gonzalez; great-great grandson Zaiden Gilbert Guzman; and two sisters: Reyes Rojas-Gonzalez and Felicita Rojas-Gonzalez.
She is survived by one daughter, Maria del Refugio Moreno of Port Isabel; two grandchildren, Teri (Gilbert) Vela and Fernando (Maria Elena) Moreno, both of Port Isabel; five great-grandchildren: Janelle, Jenica, Dara, Kayla, and Francisco; and two great-great-granddaughters, Alyssa and Maleah.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 6:00 pm at Bethel Baptist Church located on Highway 100, Shell Harbor Shopping Center in Port Isabel, TX.
