San Benito, TX- Maria Santos Gonzalez, 66, went to be with the Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at her residence in San Benito surrounded by her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her parents Leonardo and Guadalupe Martinez, her loving husband Jose H. Gonzalez and her sister Maria Ysaguirre.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Rachel (J.J.) Gonzalez and her grandsons John and Jeremiah Medellin. Maria is also survived by her sister in law Juanita G. Cruz, her brothers; Pedro Martinez, Juan Martinez and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins that loved her very much.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 10 am to 9 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7 pm at Thomae Garza Funeral Directors.
Funeral mass will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at St Joesph Catholic Church with burial to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.
