Port Isabel - Beatriz Guerra Gonzalez, 66, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2007 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville. Mrs. Gonzalez was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea in Port Isabel.
She is preceded in death by a son, Hector Gonzalez, a grandson, Spencer Ryan Gonzalez and her parents, Guadalupe and Tomasa Servin Gonzalez.
She is survived by her husband, Cayetano Gonzalez, Jr.; sons, Carlos Gonzalez, Miguel Angel (Maria de los Angeles) Gonzalez, Gustavo (Pam) Gonzalez; brother, Pedro (Carmen) Guerra; sisters, Francisca (Silvano) Guzman, Emma (Porfido) Dominguez; grandchildren, Samantha Cortez, Sebastian Gonzalez, Jager Gonzalez and Elyas Gonzalez.
Visitation are on Wednesday, March 14, 2006 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, March 15, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady Star of the Sea in Port Isabel. As to her request cremation will follow services.
