Betty Kathryn "K.K." Shahan passed away Saturday February 17, 2007 at Valley Baptist Medical Center. Betty was devoted to the Heart of America Shows for over 28 years and was resident of San Benito. Betty is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Shahan of Arlington, TX, brother; Eduardo Lewis Shahan (Linda) - Whitesboro, TX, 4 grandaughters: Muisangie Kaswatuka, Nhora Kaswatuka, Toni Shahan and Kenyona William all of Arlington, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her baby Terry Mathew Shahan, parents; Edward Lewis and Mary Elizabeth Shahan, 2 sisters: Peggy Sue Kelly and Marylin Louis Raza, grandparents; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Freeman. There will be no local services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
