LOS FRESNOS, TX.- Guilibaldo "Gilly" Torres, Jr., 37, of Los Fresnos, TX, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2007 in Austin, TX. Gilly is survived by his mother, Bertha Ozuna Torres of Los Fresnos, TX; father, Guilibaldo Torres, Sr. of San Benito, TX; 2 daughters, Gabrielle Eleni Torres; Paulina Jean Torres of Roundrock, TX; Former wife, Teresa Torres of Roundrock, TX; 5 sisters, Ludy (Mauro) Rivera, Linda (Guadalupe) Ortiz, Norma (Jorge) Mata, all of Los Fresnos, TX; Marissa Yvette Torres of San Benito, TX; and Bertha (Rich) Pitoniak of Anderson, SC; and 1 brother, Rigoberto "Bobby" Torres of Los Fresnos, TX; Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:30 P.M., to be recited by Beto Vento. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Los Fresnos with Father Steve Hernandez officiating. Interment will follow to Los Cuates Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bobby Torres, Rene Ortega, David Thrasher, Randy Thrasher, Rick Guerra, James Hallum, Ramon Ortiz, and Adrian Ortiz. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mauro Rivera, Guadalupe Ortiz, Rich Pitoniak, and Jorge Mata.
