San Benito - Teresa G. Perez passed away Saturday, January 13, 2007 at her residence surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born to Alvino and Manuela Garces on October 15, 1924. She was a lifetime resident of San Benito, TX, a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, a devoted housewife and loving mother. She will be missed by all that knew her. She is survived by two sons; Jesus Perez, Jr. - San Benito, TX,; Lee (Irene) Perez - Dickerson, TX.; seven daughters; Elvira P. (Rodolfo) Piñeda - San Benito, TX,; Olivia (Juan) Rojas - San Benito, TX,; Angie Hudson - Corpus Christi, TX,; Dolores (Mundo) Garcia - San Antonio, TX,; Anita (Alfredo) Davila - Houston, TX,; Virginia (Jose) Rosales - Silver City, NM,; Rosalinda C. Scott - Saxton, MO,; 31 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her extended family Frank Martinez and Michael J. Edwards. Ms. Perez is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus R. Perez,; parents, Manuela Peña and Alvino Garces, three sons; Arnold Perez, Sabino Perez and Juan Perez. Pallbearers will be: Danny Perez, Eduardo Perez, Fernando Perez, Alfonso Garcia, Gabriel Davila and Jimmy Hudson. Visitation will be held today, Monday January 15, 2007 from 10:00 A.M. till 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 10:00 A.M.
