Shreveport, LA/San Benito, TX -Miguel Robles left this earth to be with his heavenly Father on November 25, 2010. He was born to Miguel and Manuela Salinas Robles on March 6, 1944 in Los Herreras NL, Mexico who have preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death is his brother Jesus Robles. Miguel grew up in Monterrey, Mexico where he continued to study and obtained his bachelor's degree in Accounting. He later came to the United States to conquer his dream. He worked as a laborer in California, Wisconsin and Texas. He then moved to Michigan where he started his career with General Motors. He later transferred to Shreveport, LA and retired after 30 years with them in 1999. His passing has left a void in the lives of us who knew and loved him, but those of us who know the Lord Jesus are confident that one day, we'll all be reunited again. Left to cherish his memories and to tell his stories is the love of his life Magdelena Robles of 43 years and his sons, Miguel and wife Daphne Robles and children Josh, Jordan & Jonathan. Jose Robles and son Matthew, Cesar and wife Cathey Robles and children Cyerra & Cesar Jr. Sergio and wife Nicole Robles and children Sevario, Joshua, and Ashley, Luis and wife Kendra Robles and children Keandria & Kendralyn, and Tony Robles also his precious daughter Maria and husband CJ Elie and children Zaylen & Christian. He is also survived by his brother Moises and wife Angelica Robles and sisters Amparo and husband Alberto Barrientos, Georgina and late husband Rene Guerra, America and husband Daniel Cabrera, Maria and husband Antonio Reveles, sister-in-law Francisca Robles, and several Nieces and Nephews. Papi will be remembered for his great love and giving soul for his family and friends. Visitations will be held on Friday, December 10, 2010 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Church services will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Templo El Salvador in 1605 S Sam Houston St San Benito, TX from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. with visitation from 8:30 up to the funeral hour . Interment to follow at San Benito City Cemetery.
