San Benito, Texas
Hilario B. "Larry" Garcia, III, 45 of San Benito, Texas entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, Hilario B. Garcia, Jr. and his father in law, Bernardo Sauceda, Jr. Larry was born in San Benito, Texas on June 6, 1961 and was a lifetime resident of San Benito, Texas he was also employed with Thomae-Garza Funeral Home as a Funeral Director for many years. Mr. Garcia was also a 4th degree Knight of Columbus, a member of St. Theresa's Catholic church and was at one time an umpire with the San Benito Youth Baseball League.
He is survived by his loving family: Wife; Brenda S. Garcia, Daughter; Roxann S. Garcia, Mother, Irma H. Garcia, Sister; Patricia G. (Gilberto) De La Fuente, Brother; Adalberto B. (Irma) Garcia all of San Benito. Nieces and Nephews consist of Gilbert De La Fuente, Jr., David De La Fuente, Hilario B. Garcia, Sarah Ann Garcia, J.B. Sauceda, Jason Sauceda, Jestin Sauceda, Jacob Sauceda, Jeremy Sauceda, Alfredo Flores IV, Avery Flores, and Lorena Segura. Mother in law; Frances Sauceda, 2 Brother in laws; Jesse (Vicky) Sauceda and Jaime (Ann) Sauceda, 2 Sister in laws; Lucinda (Michael) Segura and Lisandra (Alfredo) Flores all of San Benito.
Visitation will begin on Friday, November 24, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza funeral home. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 25, 2006 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in San Benito. Interment will follow to Mont-Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
His pallbearers will be Adalberto B. Garcia, Jaime Sauceda, Jesse Sauceda, Gilberto De La Fuente, Michael Segura, Albert Vega, Alfredo Flores, and Rick Mendiondo.
A special thanks is extended out to Dr. Joseph Bender, Dr. Arturo A. Bravo, Dr. Brajesh Bhatla, Dr. Rafael Lopez, Dr. Donald D. Meadows and his Co-Workers at Thomae-Garza Funeral Directors. Larry was a generous, and kind hearted friend who will be missed by all that knew his.
