SAN BENITO, TX, - Juan "Titi" Martinez, 56, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 27, 2010. He was born April 10, 1954. He is preceded in death by his parents, Amado Martinez and Fela Robles Martinez; and a sister, Gloria Melissa Robles. Juan is survived by his sisters, Maggie Robles Aguirre, Santa Morales (+Jesse Morales), Frances (Guz) Martinez, and Alma (Mario) Maldonado. "We will always miss him but we now know we have an angel in heaven." Titi was an angel, the baby of our family; he was a true gentleman and although he was never able to speak, he was able to convey his love to everyone he met. He was always eager to greet people with a smile and a firm hand shake. He loved music and his favorite hobby was folding newspapers. He was loved by all his nieces and nephews especially by his sisters and their husbands. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2010 from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 29, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito. Pallbearers will be Joel Morales, Roland Martinez, Apolonio Villarreal, Mario Eloy Maldonado, Benny Maldonado and Roel Villarreal; honorary pallbearers will be Guz Martinez, Mario Flores and Trey Cavazos.
