SAN BENITO, TX, - Luciano L. Cardoza Sr., 73, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at La Hacienda Nursing Home in Harlingen, TX.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Luciano and Julia Cardoza; and a brother, Florentino Cardoza.
Luciano is survived by his wife of 48 years, Elvira M. Cardoza; his children, Mary Alice (Samuel) Torres, Belinda (Alberto) Quintero, Luciano (Dolores) Cardoza Jr. and Patricia (Scott) Allen; along with his grandchildren, Amanda Marie Torres, Alberto Quintero, Claudia Quintero, Breanna De La Fuente, Dillion Quintero and Christopher De La Fuente; a great grand-daughter, Solana Quintero; and a brother, Celzo Cardoza.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Mass of Resurrection will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Committal Service will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.
