San Benito, Tx - Juan Luis "Biche" Cortez, 46, of San Benito entered into eternal life on Monday, August 30, 2010 at Harlingen Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Israel Cortez Sr. and Gloria Longoria Cortez. He is survived by the niece he raised, Stevie Rae Britney Cortez; his brothers, Israel (Angela) Cortez Jr., Juan Antonio (Sandra) Cortez, Daniel (Alicia) Cortez, Gerardo Cortez, and Mark Anthony Cortez; his sisters, Laura (Luscious) Cortez and Rosa Maria (Heraclio) Serna Jr.; his nieces and nephews, Israel III, Gerardo Jr., Veronica C. Pizano, and Crystal Cortez; great nephews, Richard James Pizano and Israel Cortez III; and two great-great-nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 3, 2010 from 10:00 A.M. to 3:45 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 P.M. at El Muerto Cemetery in Harlingen, TX
