We are so shocked and saddened to hear from Pat about Omar's sudden passing. La Internacional will not be the same without him, and we fondly remember him contributing wine to the pool potluck parties-and even attended many!He was so friendly & kind to my ill sister visiting us there last Feb. from Canada;and his broad smile and easygoing manner really cheered her up. With Gords' brother passing away just a week ago, we are reeling from all these sudden passings, but we must trust Gods' will on this! he has a better plan for our loved ones right now. Omar will be sorely missed. We loved talking with Omar about Belize. He would get so excited when we talked about the great Belizean food and we promised to bring him a Belikin when we came back from Belize this Fall...hopefully beer in Heaven will be even better! We had not known Omar for a long time, but for the time we knew him, he was always very friendly, sincere and extremely helpful in our dealing with him. Soli,Omar and Julian, We were truly shocked on hearing the news of Omar's death. We will always remember him and his big smile. During our time in Rancho Viejo we visited your home on several occassions and Omar you and your boys were always so wonderful to us. I know that this is a difficult time for you and the boys but I also know that Omar will always be there in spirit with you. He lives through all your memories.
