San Benito, TX- Siria Contreras Garza, 90, was called by the Lord on July 21, 2010. She was born on January 1, 1920 to Isidro and Petra Contreras. Mrs. Garza is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Guadalupe Garza. She is survived by her son, Homero (Melba) of McAllen; her daughters, Linda Alvarado of San Benito, Sylvia Llanes of Austin, Nancy (Noe) Duran of San Benito, Norma (Angel) Torres of Rio Hondo and Anna (Mike) Llanes of San Benito; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2010 from 12 Noon to 9:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Chapel Service will be held on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow to San Benito City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Homer Garza, Johnny Alvarado, Jerry Alvarado, Joseph Torres, David Llanes, Daniel Garza, Michael Llanes, Carlos Llanes, Anthony Torres and Jose Garza.
