Maria E. Trevino, 80, of San Benito entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX. She was a lifetime resident of San Benito and a lifetime member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Trevino; children, Gregorio Trevino, David Trevino, and Nelda Trevino; grandson, Raul Trevino, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Lesa Davis Trevino; parents, Eusebio and Maria Silva, and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Frank (Lupita) Trevino, Jr., Elva (Joe Rodriguez) Trevino, Raul (Eloisa) Trevino, Ruben Trevino, Jesus (Lesa) Trevino, and Carmen (Leo) Hernandez, a sister Maria S. Perez 18 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday, July 5, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Resurrection will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Eddie Mendoza, Roy Mendoza, Jr., Ruben Trevino, Jr., Gabriel Lee Trevino, Gregorio Trevino, Jr., David Trevino, Jr., Frankie Trevino and Leo Hernandez, Jr..
