San Benito, TX- William F. Stone, 85 of San Benito, TX passed away May 20, 2010 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
William was born September 12, 1924 in Allston, Massachusetts to Harold and Mary Stone. He moved to the Rio Grande Valley of Texas in 1989 following the death of his wife, Ellen, to live with his sister, Mary.
In addition to his parents and his wife, William is preceded in death by his daughters, Catherine and Lynn; his brother, John Stone of Roseau, Minnesota; and a sister, Peggy (Stone) Farris of Ventura, California.
William is survived by his sister, Mary (Stone) Eagan of San Benito, Texas; 2 nieces and 3 nephews.
No local services will be held. He will be interred alongside his wife in Malden, Massachusetts.
