San Benito, TX- Danny J. Fox, 57 of San Benito, TX went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on May 6, 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Thomas and Linnie Bell Fox; and 2 brothers, W.T. Fox and Johnny Fox. Danny is survived by his loving and devout wife of 31 years, Helen Fox; his children, Brian, Crystal and Willie Fox; his 2 sisters, Elizabeth Helms and Dorothy Murphy; and 5 grandchildren; along with numerous other family members. Danny was very involved in the Catholic Church serving as a CCD teacher, Sponsor couple and Lector at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Harlingen and Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church in San Benito; He served in the Navy; also was a Master Electrician for 31 years; along with being an alcohol and substance abuse counselor for 6 years; and was also an avid sportsman. Visitation will be held Monday, May 10, 2010 from 12 Noon to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church in San Benito. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park.
