San Benito, TX - Kenneth J. Davis, 87, of San Benito, TX passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Retama Manor Nursing Center in Harlingen, TX. Mr. Davis was born to the late Edward and Antonia (Fischer) Davis in Kenosha, WI on December 22, 1922. He was retired from Transporters Releasing in Kenosha, WI. He enjoyed traveling in his motor home, spending summers in South Dakota and winters in Texas. He is preceded in death by his wife Nelda Moore Davis in March 03, 2006; a former wife Leoma Voster Davis in October 22, 2009; a sister Virginia Niejadlik. He is survived by his daughter, Kendall Gentz of Pleasant Prairie, WI; a grandson, Kenneth (Joy) Gentz of Trevor, WI; one sister, Betty Edquist of Somers, WI;1 brother, Edward (Eileen) Davis of Ocala, FL and a companion, Maria Elena Zavala of San Benito, Texas. Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. today Wednesday, May 05, 2010 with a chapel service to be held at 2:00 P.M at Thomae Garza Funeral Home North Chapel in San Benito. Interment will be follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
