Jose G. Perez, 73, of San Benito went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at his residence in San Benito. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marcos and Petra F. Perez; three brothers, Juan Del Toro, Roberto Perez and Irasel Perez; 1 sister, Consuelo Fernandez. Mr. Perez is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Maria Elena C. Perez; two sons, Jose G. (Laura) Perez, Jr., Jose Luis (Josefina) Perez; two grandchildren, Jose Luis Jr. and Clarissa Perez; two brothers, Eleazar (Eva) Perez and Lionel (Dalinda) Perez; one sister, Viola (Victor) Villalobos and other relatives. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 20, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home Chapel. A mass of resurrection will be held Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Benedict's Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Rolando Cavazos, Roel Cavazos, Azael Villafranca, Federico Perez, George Saldana and Frank Cuellar. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jose G.
