Los Fresnos - Jose "Santos" Moncivaiz, Sr., 69, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather went to meet our Lord on August 30, 2006. He was born in Madero (near Tampico) Tamp., Mexico on November 2, 1936. He moved to Port Isabel, Texas where he met his wife of 45 years, Graciela R. Moncivaiz and raised 5 children Jose Luis (Emma); Jose Santos, Jr. (Rita); Mario Rafael (Michelle); Maria Teresa (Francisco); and Sandra Lee Moncivaiz; 10 grandchildren; Joseph (Joanne); Daniel; Kristin; Santos III; Amanda; David; MiKayla, Brandon; Justin; Natalie Moncivaiz; and 1 great-grandaughter, Kayla Moncivaiz. Jose "Santos" worked in the shrimping industry for over 25 years as a Shrimp Boat Captain. After retiring from shrimping he continued a career running a tugboat for Sea Horse Tugboats. His favorite pastime was football. A faithful Port Isabel Tarpon fan, even after moving to Los Fresnos, Texas in 2003. Visitation will be today, August 31, 2006, 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 1, 2006, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Los Fresnos, Texas. Cremation will follow.
