Dear Robbie, Billie and kids: I wanted to send my condolences on behalf of my family. Aunt JoAnn was with me the day Red died and we did spend that day together, thinking, tearing and speaking about Uncle Red. We were all praying for you and your family, I do know what it is like to loose a father and I do know the pain that you feel...the loss, the grief, the hurt, frustration and confusion. The pain lessens with time, but you never forget and that void in your heart remains, because no other person can fill it. I wish there was something we could do, or some way we could contribute. Please let us know if you think of anything. I know we haven't spent much time with one another as kids or adults, but it doesn't make us any less or more in the family ties we share. I loved your dad. He was a very special uncle. He is such an unusual, easy-going fella. He always made me smile and he always had something fun and interesting to say. I will miss him greatly and miss the times I shared with him and talked with him. He loved you all very much and you are right to say he WOULD and DID do anything for you and the grandkids. His love was true to his death and his generous nature will always be remembered and cherish by us all. Our love & prayers, Joy & Franky, Sunshine, Jory and Levi.
