RIO HONDO/HARLINGEN, TX. - Adan R. Atkinson, 64, of Rio Hondo/ Harlingen went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at his residence in Harlingen.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rogelio and Marcelita Atkinson.
He is survived by his wife, Lucy Castillo; sons, Andrew, Adan Jr., Alfonso and daughter, Rosa; also surviving are seven brothers, two sisters, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 30, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home Chapel.
A mass of resurrection will be held Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St. Helen's Catholic Church in Rio Hondo, TX. Interment will follow to San Vicente Cemetery.
