San Benito, Texas - Josefina Mares entered into eternal rest on Saturday July 29, 2006 at her residence. Mrs. Mares was a life long resident of San Benito, TX and a member of Jehovah's Witness of San Benito. She is survived by her loving husband: Saturino Mares, son: Ramiro Mares, daughter: Rosie Mares, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Mrs. Mares is preceded in death by her parents: Teodoro and Guadalupe Montalvo, 2 sons: Rolando Mares and Rene Mares. Visitation will be held today, Tuesday August 1, 2006 from 3:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday July 2, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with Elder Jesse Rodriguez officiating. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Eric Mares, Ramiro Mares, Rene Mares, Johnny Rodriguez, Rene Rodriguez and Ray Rodriguez.
