Raquel C. Reyes, 65 of San Benito went to be with our Lord on Saturday, July 29, 2006 at Valley Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Reyes was born in Cd. Vicoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico in February 24, 1941 and married Rev. Pablo Reyes Martinez in December 3, 1966. She came to Texas in 1983 an resided in San Benito for the past 14 years. She served her life as a Pastor's wife, was a great woman of God and a prayer warrior. Mrs. Reyes was preceded in death by one sister, Lydia Cantu Torres. She is survived by her husband, Pablo Reyes Martinez; four children, Pablo (Ruth M.) Reyes, Jr., Josue Eduardo (Miriam) Reyes, Ruth Jemima Reyes and Ofra E. (Jaime) Moreno; three grendchildren, Josue Eduardo Reyes, Jr., Paula Keren Reyes and Caleb Alejandro Reyes; two brothers, Miqueas Cantu Garza and Manuel Cantu Garza; two sisters, Josefa Cantu Corpus and Febe Cantu Garza and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitations will begin today from 9:00a.m. until 9:00p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at 10:00a.m. at the El Salvador Assembly of God Church. Interment to follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park.
