San Benito, TX- Locadia Martinez Hinojosa, 102, of San Benito, TX, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Harlingen Medical Center in Harlingen, TX. She will be greatly missed by her whole family; she was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She is preceded in death by her husband, Luis Hinojosa; her 2 sons, Alejandro Galvan, Sr. and Hector Hinojosa; and her granddaughter, Araceli Hernandez. Mrs. Hinojosa is survive by her son, Benito (Orelia) Garcia of Weslaco, TX; her 3 daughters, Noelia (Fernando) Espinosa of San Antonio, TX, Elva (Erasmo) Gonzales of La Paloma, TX and Herminia (Pedro) Hernandez of La Paloma, TX; 29 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and 28 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held today, Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 12:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 P.M. and a prayer service will be held at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection will be held on Friday, January 8, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in La Paloma, Texas. Committal Service will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
