SAN BENITO, TEXAS. Maria Dolores Delmas, 84, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on December 31, 2009 at Baylor Medical Center in Carrollton, TX, is now free indeed after struggling with many illnesses. She now walks with her beloved Jose who passed away on December 11, and family who went before them, including their granddaughter, Gabriella. Maria is survived by her only child, Rosalinda Delmas Hancock (Gary), and four grandsons, James, Seth, Gregory, and Nathaniel all of Carrollton, Texas. She is also survived by sisters, Josefina Resendez of Harlingen, Concepcion Castillo and Maria Luisa Castillo of San Carlos, Tamps., Mexico, Juanita Castillo of Linares, N.L., and Antonio Castillo of Matamoros, Tamps. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 8, 2009, from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Chapel service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2009, at 10:00 A.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
