SAN BENITO, TX. - Daphne Skinner, 82, of San Benito, Texas passed away Sunday, December 20, 2009 at Harlingen Medical Center in Harlingen. She was a lifelong member of Church of Christ and loved the Lord. In May of 1944, Daphne married Douglas Skinner and together they had two children, a son, Jerry (Melba) Skinner of Harlingen, Texas and a daughter, Carolyn (Patrick) Nunns of Albuquerque, New Mexico, two grandchildren, Jerree and Sabina and great children Toby and Michael; 2 sister, Meda Gordon of Hurts, Texas and Cletis Smith of Galveston, Texas and other relatives. All those who knew her will always be remembered for her quick smile and care and concern she had for others that was built on a foundation of kindness. She will be missed greatly perhaps because she touched so many people with her gentle touch of love. A Graveside service will be held Monday, December 28, 2009 at 9:00 A.M. at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
