Rio Hondo, TX- Angel H. Bravo, 84, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his wife, Bernardina Santillan Bravo. He is survived by his six children: Ernestina (Roberto) Alvarez, Angel (Martha) Bravo, Alicia (Roberto) Lopez, Eligio (Blanca) Bravo, Monico (Jesusa) Bravo, and Jose (Maria) Bravo. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin today, July 27, 2011 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 28, 2011 from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito with Mass of Resurrection to begin at 2:00 PM at St. Helen Catholic Church in Rio Hondo, TX. Committal service will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Roberto Lopez, Jr., Monico Bravo, Jr., Jose Bravo, Jr., Alexis Bravo, Martin Bravo, Roberto Alvarez, Jr., Gregorio Santillan, and Juan Bravo.
