San Benito, TX. - Alicia V. Villarreal, 82, of San Benito, TX, passed peacefully to be with Jesus on with a hint of a smile on her face December 10, 2009. It's like Jesus was welcoming her with open arms and telling her "well done, Alicia, well done". She was loved and she will be missed. Alicia is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Humberto L. Villarreal; her children, Minerva, Yolanda, Joey and Noralisa; her grandchildren, Cris, Jake, Zeke, David, Danny and Sylvia; her great grandchildren, Jayden and Sage; mother in law to Roel Joe, JoAnn and Matt; her sisters, Dora and Dolores; her nieces and nephews, Lester, Cecilia, Sylvia, Carmen, Irma, Ricky and Tommy; a sister in law to Janie, Nolo, Beatrice and Christy; a friend to Ann, Gene, Polly, Anita, Mary, Mark, Betty, Dorothy, Elmo, Goyo, Eva, Tere and countless others. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2009 from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.Cremation will follow to Sacred Park Crematorium in Mercedes, Texas.
