Port Isabel, TX: Lorenza Ramirez, 68, of Port Isabel, TX passed away, Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio.
She is preceded in death by her Parents, Porfirio and Juanita Valdez Najera; her son, Felipe Ramirez; 1 brother, Natividad Najera; and 2 sisters, Antonia & Agustina Najera.
She is survived by her loving husband, Antonio Ramirez; 6 children, Ernestina Medina, Maria Asuncion Ramirez, Romana Fierro, Margarita (Reymundo) Vega, Alicia Ramirez and Daniel (Julia) Ramirez; 17 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren; 1 brothers, Tomas Najera; and 1 sister, Maria De Jesus Najera;
Visitation will be held Friday December 4, 2009 from 12 noon to 4:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito and will continue from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with at Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria St. in Port Isabel.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel. Interment will follow to Port Isabel City Cemetery in Port Isabel.
